Ash Wednesday at St. Marcellin Champagnat School

The school gathered to the celebrate Ash wednesday. The event marks the beginning of the Catholic season of lent. Lent is the 40 days period that preceeds the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The program was led by Rev. Fr. David Ampofo, the Chaplain of Catholic Technical Institute. In his exhortation he told the students that God expects of us three virtues as Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving. 'As children and students' Fr. Ampofo noted 'you are not compelled to go without food...

Official Opening of the Second term of the 2014/15 Academic year

A Holy Mass was this day celebrated to mark the official opening of the Second term of the 2041/15 academic year. In his homily, Rev. F. David Ampofo encouraged the congregation to thank God for his mercies and for bringing the school back to work and to the beginning of another year. Opening Mass

A Holy mass was celebrated to mark the official opening of the second term of the 2013/2014 academic year. About 95% of the student population accompanied by their teachers took part in the celebration. During the homily Fr. Cecilia Adu Poku, encouraged the gathering to build a close relationship with God. He believed that knowing God is the only way by which we can succeed in life.

A recollection session was on Monday, 1st July, 2013 organized for the teachers of St. Marcellin Champagnat School at the school premises. It was on theme FRUITFULLNESS IN THE MIDST OF PERSECUTION. The Staff, Students and Parents of St. Marcellin Champagnat School in Kumasi, Ghana on Friday, 14th June, 2013 gathered to celebrate the Founders’ day. The day was also the graduation ceremony of the 2013 final year students.
